Our Spring Specialty was held March 13, 2009 in conjunction with the Houston Combined Specialty Association. Good fun was had by all despite the chilly weather. Congratulations to Best of Breed winner CH Whiskey Ridge's Dalwhinnie, owned by Michelle Raisor.
We are also planning on holding a show at Reliant Park, Thursday, July 16, 2009, also in conjunction with the Houston Combined Specialties Association.
This show is approved and information can be found on the AKC web site. The superintendent is Jack Onofrio Dog Shows, LLC. The Premium list will soon be available. The judges are Jon Cole for breed and Deborah Boyd for Sweepstakes.
If you are new to English Setters, I hope that you will consider membership in our club. We have many fun activities planned including participation in Dog Ownership Day. We also have plans to hold a microchip clinic.
